Esthetic and functional rehabilitation in an adult male patient showing moderate to severe tooth wear next to tooth loss (#46) and decayed restorations. The improved esthetic and functional treatment outcome was obtained following a change of vertical dimension, achieved with a few indirect restorations and mostly direct reshaping of posterior occlusal surfaces; in the smile frame, a combination of E-Max™ crowns (#21 & #22), prefabricated composite Edelweiss veneers (#11 to #13 & #23) and direct composite restorations (#33 to #43). The case illustrates the use of multiple restorative solutions to optimize treatment efficiency and limit its cost.
